_by Maggie Adams at Blue Paddle SUP Many of us have friends and family who have been diagnosed with cancer. Some are in remission, some are just starting treatment, some rely on continuous infusions and treatments to keep their cancer suppressed. I have two very dear friends with cancer who love stand up paddle boarding. Stand up paddle boarding is what brought us together. This year I am dedicating all my paddle races to those two friends and others fighting this terrible disease! My next race is February 6th, 2016 in Newport, CA. If you would like me to add your friend to my jersey, leave their name in the comments below.

Hi Maggie. My husband is currently going through treatment now. He has Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. That's why my board is collecting dust in the garage. Ha! Hopefully we can plan something in Canyon Lake. I need to get you a contact because I know there would be a lot of people wanting to take a workshop. Good luck in your race. Hope all is well.
